'Blue Bowl'

This painting was of course done at the same time as 'Blue Bottle' - one thing leads to another when painting - and similar combinations are suddenly noticed. The bright cobalt blue glaze on this bowl makes it a very attractive container for green grapes, apples and pears. The bluish cast light on the surface was actually from 'that' blue bottle.
