One of my favourite florists, Sandra, is quite used to me buying three gerberas to put in this blue glass bottle, but so far I've only actually painted them once. I opened the kitchen door one morning and they were positively glowing. We have emerald green blinds in the kitchen and the early sun was pushing light through the blinds, making the green, blue & orange combination impossible to ignore. 14 x 11" oils on paper.
